sgrblog	12:08p	Worming up http://sgrblog.blogspot.com/2010/01/worming-up.html I haven't made comics for more than a week, so I had a little drawing warm up this morning. It's "Eggy Hepburn". I used the Breakfast At Tiffany's poster as a resource, on which she is depicted as being roughly 8 feet tall with an eight inch waist. Good old Eggy, whenever I draw her she always ends up looking like Jeggy Garner. (Comment on this)

So you think that when I meet people with my disability, it would give me a sense of community? Wrong. It pisses me the heck off. I just want to yell "SPIT IT OUT" -----Email Message----- The same thing crossed my mind as I drove home drunk from a party last week. I smashed into the car in front of me 3 minutes later. -----Email Message----- Yesterday I had my last therapy session with one of my clients and I realized something. I am sure he will never read this but just in case I want him to know, I love you. -----Email Message----- While volunteering with my local crisis center, I once received a suicide call that reminded me so much of my own suicide attempt, I couldn't finish the call. . . -----Email Message----- The therapist I saw for my eating disorder and depression inspired me to become a psychologist. But in a year of over-rated, undercooked indie follow-ups (I was underwhelmed by Animal Collective and Dirty Projectors' 2009 efforts), I played this one over and over again. 18 - EM ARE I - Jeffrey Lewis And The Junkyard "To Be Objectified" 17 LET'S CHANGE THE WORLD WITH MUSIC - Prefab Sprout "Earth: The Story So Far" "Let There Be Music" This is a beautiful record and to say that these are demos made on a computer from 1987, I think there is something movingly brittle about them. I discovered that a secret written on note paper had been tucked into the book. The secret said: I just read this with the woman I love. I hope she doesn't get away.
